Dating back to 1819 and formerly known as Clos de Bel-Air. In 1975 it was purchased by Jean Louis Obissier, who re-named the property after two of his most cherished racehorses Fleur & Cardinale. In 2001 the estate was bought by Dominique and Florence Decoster and then the true potential of the property would be seen, investing heavily in modernising the estate and in 2006 they were rewarded by gaining Grand Cru Classe status. The wines continued to go from strength to strength and when their son Ludovic joined in 2015 he moved into organic farming. The vineyards of 23 hectares are planted with 90% Merlot and 5% each of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines which represent outstanding value are luscious, opulent, and complex with rich fruit and velvety tannins. The wines age beautifully over 2 decades.

This 12 hectare property dates back to the 1400's and is one of the regions oldest wine estates, under the ownership of the Borie-Manoux family since 1949, it was awarded Premier Grand Cru Classe, B status in 1955. The vineyards are planted with approximately 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, with some of the vines being over 140 years old, which contributes to the complexity of the wines. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in temperature controlled concrete vats, followed by aging in new French oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, with a small production of just 3000 cases a year. The wines can be enjoyed from 5 years of aging, but will continue to develop over 20+ years.
