The vineyards span 13.5 hectares on the edge of the famous saint Emilion limestone plateau and are planted to 72% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc and 11% Cabernet Sauvignon. For two centuries the property enjoyed a great reputation for producing exceptional wines with great aging potential. Purchased in 1978 by Francois-Xavier Borie he has continued invest in that legacy. Produced from 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, the wines are powerful and elegant and represent outstanding value.
